Your Battle Dragons series has been a real bonding moment for me and my son. He’s in 5th grade and really into dragon fiction. We listen on audiobook while walking the neighborhood. He’s dying to know if you’re working on a 4th. I’ve also shared our find with the social justice book club I’m in with parents from his school. Representation in sci-fi/fantasy is so hard to find.

We’re only halfway through book 3! He’s going to go wild at the cliffhanger. Who do we write to at Scholastic to get that greenlit? (Only kind of joking). I’m going to reach out to his school librarian and make sure your books are on their shelves and if they can have you come talk to the kids.

I was 21, closeted, and remember thinking I didn't know sci-fi could have gay characters. Sounds ridiculous to say that now but it made a huge impact on me at the time! Your work has been an inspiration for my own silly little stories as well. I really hope to meet you one day! Maybe you're not hyper-popular but the fans you do have are always in your corner!!

I mean if the school has a Scholastic Book Fair, talk to the Scholastic Rep! Or just get everyone to buy copies of the series :)
