Cover Reveal: Princess Protection Program
the first book has a cover, and you get to see it first!
There are several milestones for every book that’s published, from the day a publisher buys it and the day the final draft is sent off to the proofreaders and production department all the way to the publication date a long time later (it can be a year or more).
Somewhere in there, is the day the final cover gets approved and the day that cover gets shared with the public.
Well, faithful readers, the cover isn’t quite public yet, but I am now allowed to share it with you!
Which I will do right now!
Philadelphia based artist James Firnhaber and the Greenwillow/HarperCollins Children’s Art Department have created a wonderful package for the story of Sleeping Beauty waking up and hiding out in our world with a community of princesses (and one prince) on the lam from their tales.
Without further ado, behold (and maybe pre-order the book please):
There will be more news and info about it in the future, and eventually, this newsletter will get more focused on the craft and process of the next book I’m writing, an illustrated memoir, but for now, hope y’all enjoy the silly middle grade adventures headed your way this Fall/Winter.
Hope y’all are having a great summer!
